My time in KZN was limited and I was panicked on whether I’d be able to get my car moved on time. I had great initial communication and organising of when to have my car ready, plans were even made to accommodate me. A while ago we had IAM's transport a car from Salt Rock to Cape Town and more recently another car was transported from Cape Town to Salt Rock. The booking process went smoothly and so did the arrangements for the collection and delivery of the vehicles. The duration of the transportation was around four days and the cost was less than driving the vehicle with stop-overs. For the first transport we collected the car from the truck at an agreed location and for the second transport we had to drop off the car at a location in Somerset West on the site of another transporter...we have advised IAM to be more specific on directions because it was not obvious where to find the IAM office as there was no IAM signage.
